Lawyer elected to legal group's board

Christopher M. Hart has been elected to the board of directors of the Defense Association of New York, an association of attorneys and qualified nonattorneys committed to improving the services of the legal profession. The Sea Cliff resident is a special counsel at the law firm of Goldberg Segalla in Mineola.

REAL ESTATE
Robert P. Kittine Jr. has joined the Sag Harbor office of The Corcoran Group as a senior associate broker. The Sag Harbor resident was an associate broker at one of Corcoran's Manhattan locations.

RISK MANAGEMENT
Cheryl White-Leys has been named senior risk consultant in the risk management services division of Chernoff Diamond & Co. a Garden City-based benefits and risk management consulting company. Most recently, she was associated with Sobel Affiliates, also of Garden City, where she served as director of marketing in addition to her role as commercial lines account manager.
