Bruce W. Migatz, a resident of Port Washington, has been named to the board of directors of Landmark on Main Street, a not-for-profit community center in Port Washington. Migatz is a partner in the Garden City law firm of Albanese & Albanese. 

Mark Yagerman has been elected chairman of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law Alumni Association. The Old Westbury resident is an equity owner at the Manhattan law firm of Smith Mazure Director Wilkins Young & Yagerman. 

Peter N. Resnick has been appointed to the New York State Insurance Department's Insurance Exchange Markets Subgroup. The Jericho resident is executive vice president at Interboro Insurance Co. in Mineola

Richard A. Mills of the Garden City accounting firm of Israeloff, Trattner & Co. has joined the board of directors at The Coalition Against Child Abuse & Neglect. He is a Plainview resident.

Ronald S. Edwards has been named human resources officer at the C.W. Post Campus ofLong Island University. The Cambria Heights, resident was the senior human resources director at Boys & Girls Harbor in Manhattan.

ENTERTAINMENT
Felix Ciampa has been appointed to Madison Square Garden's newly created position of senior vice president, government affairs. The Brooklyn resident was chief of staff for the New York City deputy mayor for economic development.

FINANCE
Rob Gambardella has been promoted to managing director at the Depository Trust and Clearing Corp. in Manhattan. The Northport resident will be responsible for the development of applications in derivative processing and global enterprise risk management.

HOSPITALITY
Jini Tharappen-Laferla has been promoted to director of sales at the Garden City Hotel. The Garden city resident was promoted from corporate sales manager.
