Bridget Garcia of Queens has been promoted from operations supervisor to manager of health, safety and facilities.
Andrew Gates of Lynbrook has been promoted to IT supervisor. He was help desk administrator.
LAW
Ramy Louis of Queens has joined the Brill Legal Group as an associate in the Hempstead and Manhattan offices, focusing on criminal defense and appeals, and professionals in disciplinary investigations. He was a special assistant district attorney for the Brooklyn D.A.'s office and lives in Queens.
GOVERNMENT
Carole Trottere of East Setauket has joined the Town of North Hempstead in Manhasset as director of communications. She had a similar post at Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine in Hempstead.
