Theresa A. Driscoll, an associate at the Garden City law firm of Moritt Hock & Hamroff and a Port Washington resident, was recently appointed to the board of directors of the Long Island chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. Members of the association are a professional community of turnaround and corporate renewal professionals who share a common interest in strengthening the economy through the restoration of corporate value.

Nicole Brewer has been elected vice president of the Press Club of Long Island board of directors. Brewer, a resident of Cutchogue, serves as executive publisher of Southampton-based Hamptons.com.

Irvin Brum has been elected to the board of directors of the Advancement for Commerce, Industry & Technology. He is a senior partner at the Uniondale law firm Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, where he serves as chairman of the corporate and securities department. He is also a member of the corporate governance practice group. Brum lives in Kew Gardens Hills.
