Marie Nicharico, of Lindenhurst, has been named president of the Central Council of the Guilds of Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. The Central Council is the board of directors of the volunteer organizations for the hospital. She has volunteered at the hospital for more than 30 years and is a retired teacher.
The Long Island Children's Museum, of Garden City, has announced two new board of trustees appointments.
Thomas R. Cangemi, of Mill Neck, is senior executive vice president and chief financial officer of New York Community Bancorp in Westbury.
Ronald Storch, of Roslyn, has been elected vice chair of the board and is partner in charge of operations at Berdon Accountants and Advisors in Manhattan.

Troy Caruso, of Smithtown, has been promoted to vice president of business development at WinWinUSA in Bay Shore. He previously served as director of business relations.
