Elana Zolfo has been named board chairwoman of the Hauppauge Industrial Association. The Smithtown resident is interim provost and vice president for corporate programs and continuing education at Oakdale's Dowling College.
Michael Cardello III of Plainview has been appointed chairman of the commercial litigation committee within the Nassau County Bar Association. He is a partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff in Garden City.

Monica Davie has joined Homes by Mara in Syosset as a real estate agent. She held a similar position at Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate in East Norwich. She is a Syosset resident.
TECHNOLOGY
Michael Oliveri has joined Suntron Corp. as vice president and general manager of its open systems solutions business unit in Methuen, Mass. The Bay Shore resident was vice president of sales at Sixnet in Albany. He will work from a home office.
