Christine Favara has rejoined Advantage Title Agency in Melville as senior vice president and national and international transaction counsel. The Huntington resident most recently held a similar position at Lincoln Land Services, in Melville, and had previously held the same position with Advantage from 2007 until 2012.

DENTAL

Scott Walsh has been promoted to vice president of sales at Darby Dental Supply, a Jericho-based national distributor of dental merchandise. The Huntington resident previously was director of national sales.

ACCOUNTING

R.S. Abrams & Co., an Islandia-based accounting firm, has hired three new employees.

Thomas Halecky joins as a supervisor. The Ronkonkoma resident was a senior accountant for Giambalvo Stalzer & Co. in Great River.

Jennifer St. Denis joins as a semi-senior auditor. The Franklin Square resident was a staff accountant at Conroy, Boulrice, Telling & Trombley in Plattsburgh.

John Ryan Walsh joins as a semi-senior auditor. The Nesconset resident held a similar position at Craig, Fitzsimmons & Michaels in Smithtown.

Charlotte A. Biblow has been elected president of the board of directors of Sustainable Long Island and will serve a two-year term. The Bayside resident is a partner at Farrell Fritz in Uniondale and leads the firm's environmental practice group.

Mary Ellen Ellwood has been installed as president of the Rotary Club of Riverhead. The Riverhead resident is an associate broker with Douglas Elliman Real Estate in Mattituck.

Thomas S. Gulotta has been named to the board of directors at Flushing Financial Corp. in Lake Success. The Merrick resident and former Nassau County executive is special counsel at Albanese & Albanese law firm in Garden City, president and chief executive of consulting firm Executive Strategies and a director on the board of the United Nations Development Corporation.

Dr. Frank R. DiMaio joins the department of orthopedic surgery at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn. The Old Brookville resident was chief of adult joint reconstruction at North Shore-LIJ Health System.

Brian J. Beller has been promoted to counsel at Phillips Nizer in the real estate department in the Garden City and Manhattan offices. The Port Washington resident was an associate.

Gary Thayer has been promoted to of counsel at Archer, Byington, Glennon & Levine in Melville, and will continue working on employee benefits and fund compliance. The Merrick resident was an associate.
