The American Heart Association has named two new members to its Long Island board of directors. Manhattan resident Jeffrey Bernstein, president and chief executive of The Archstone Group in Manhattan, has been named chairman. Northport resident Cindy McLoughlin, a partner and office business line leader at BDO Seidman in Melville, has been named vice chairman.

John Delorenzo, area director for the Cross Island region at Citibank, has been elected chairman of the Middle Country Library Foundation, which raises funds for innovative library-based programs. He is a Hauppauge resident.

Marie Beninati has been named board president of San Simeon by the Sound Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Greenport. The Peconic resident is president of Beninati Associates Real Estate in Southold.

Marianne E. Van Duyne has been appointed to the board of the New York State School District Internal Auditing Alliance. The Smithtown resident is a partner at the Islandia accounting firm of R.S. Abrams & Co.

Christopher D. Saridakis, chief executive of the global marketing services division of GSI Commerce in Prussia, Pa. has joined the Adelphi University board of directors. The Wilmington, Del. resident will serve on the advancement and finance committees.

FINANCE
Jennifer Caluri-Sullivan has joined Arbor Commercial Funding in Uniondale as vice president, marketing. The Fair Lawn, N.J., resident was director of marketing and corporate communications at Greystone & Co.

Nancy Bohan has joined The Spina Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in Jericho as portfolio management director and first vice president. The Franklin Square resident held a similar position in The Stephen Berlin Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney.

HEALTH CARE
Teriann Cronin was promoted to administrator at Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Sayville. The Medford resident was assistant administrator.

Larry Galante has joined Parker Jewish Institute in New Hyde Park as director of facilities management. The Rocky Point resident was director of building services at Avalon Gardens Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Smithtown.

Bernice Sandowski has joined Our Lady of Consolation Nursing & Rehabilitative Care Center in West Islip as director of social services. The Wantagh resident was administrator at the Flushing Manor Care Center in Queens.

LAW
Reaz H. Jafri has joined the Lake Success firm of Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato & Einiger as partner and head of its immigration and nationality law practice. The Manhasset resident was with Jafri & Jafri in Westbury.

REAL ESTATE
Hal L. Rose will head the newly formed department of landlord-tenant legal services as vice president and in-house legal counsel at Citywide Property Owners Network in Bellmore. The Bellmore resident was senior associate at the Manhattan law firm of Amsterdam & Lewinter.
