Kenneth Kirschenbaum has been appointed general counsel of the New York Burglar & Fire Alarm Association. The Old Westbury resident is the managing partner at Kirschenbaum & Kirschenbaum in Garden City.

Robert O. Mayer has been named co-chair of the corporate committee at the Nassau County Museum of Art in Roslyn Harbor. He will co-chair this responsibility with Michael D. Brown. Mayer is co-manager of the Syosset-based accounting firm MayerMeinberg and lives in Plainview.

EDUCATION
Jimmy Sunshine
has joined The Hagedorn Little Village School in Seaford as director of development. The Syosset resident was a director on the board for eight years and until recently owned Post Wine and Spirits in Syosset, after 25 years in the motion picture industry.
