Scott Sher, until recently a director at Katz & Associates in Pearl River, has joined Sabre Real Estate Group in Garden City as senior vice president. The Great Neck resident specializes in tenant and landlord representation in the greater New York and New Jersey markets.

Scott Kohen has joined The Center for Wealth Preservation as a financial planner. He comes to the Syosset firm from Edward Jones in Bellmore, where he was a financial adviser. Kohen is an Oceanside resident.
Shawn R. Tracy has joined the Garden City-based accounting firm Armao, Costa & Ricciardi as a senior and will be responsible for tax, audit and financial reporting for clients that include labor unions, private business and not-for-profit organizations. Most recently, the Dix Hills resident was a self-employed tax consultant for individuals and corporate clients.

Josephine Rotolo has been named president of The Long Island Coaching Alliance, which is the local chapter of the International Coach Federation. LICA provides support and resources to individuals and organizations in areas that include careers, life and working transitions, workplace issues, and relationships. Rotolo is a Valley Stream resident and is the founder and owner of Type J Coaching, which provides career development coaching, life coaching and corporate training in communication and leadership.
HEALTH CARE
Dr. Patricia J. Tassinari has been appointed director of the Bishop McHugh Health Center in Hicksville, a division of Roslyn-based St. Francis Hospital. The Glen Head resident was previously a full-time physician at First Med Immediate Medical Services in Bayside, Queens. Tassinari has 25 years of experience in providing urgent family medical care.
CONSULTING
Barry Rothman has joined Lachman Consultants as manager, compliance practice. Rothman, a Rockville, Md., resident, joins the Westbury pharmaceutical consulting company from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration where most recently he served as acting director, division of good manufacturing practice assessment of the office of manufacturing and product quality office of compliance/center for drug evaluation and research.
LAW
Robert Griswold has joined the bankruptcy and debtor-creditor rights group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman in East Meadow as an associate. The Sunnyside resident was a law clerk for the Hon. Robert E. Grossman, bankruptcy judge for the Eastern District of New York, before joining the law firm.
MEDIA
Rich Pell has joined San Francisco-based UBM Electronics as executive editor of EDN, a print and Web product, and Designlines, a Web-only product. Pell, a Mineola resident, will work from UBM Electronics' Manhasset office.
