Silvana LaFerlita Gullo has been named executive director of Nassau Land Trust, a nonprofit that works with landowners and communities to protect open land. The Garden City resident was director of development at the Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center of Nassau County before joining the Garden City Park-based organization.
Bob Venero has been named to the board of directors of Hauppauge-based United Cerebral Palsy Association of Greater Suffolk. He is president and chief executive of Holbrook-based Future Tech Enterprise and lives in Bayport.

Stacey Bell has joined News 12 Long Island in Woodbury as co-anchor of the weekday evening newscasts. She joins News 12 Long Island from WJW-TV in Cleveland where she was an anchor/reporter. Bell is relocating to Long Island.

Carolyn Sullivan has rejoined Coldwell Banker Manor Gate in its Wantagh office as a broker associate. She held a similar position at Century 21 American Homes in Levittown and lives in Amityville.
