Joseph M. Serpe has been promoted to vice president at Stalco Construction in Islandia. He was promoted from project manager, a position he had held since joining the firm in 2008. The Islip resident's responsibilities will include overall management of construction operations, supervision of the project management and superintendent staff, management of selected projects as executive project manager, and mentoring of junior project management personnel. Joseph M. Serpe has been promoted to vice president at Stalco Construction in Islandia. He was promoted from project manager, a position he held since joining the firm in 2008. The Islip resident's responsibilities will include overall management construction operations, supervision of the project management and superintendent staff, management of selected projects as executive project manager, and mentoring of junior project management personnel.

FINANCE

Stephen M. Lang has been promoted to first vice president of commercial lending at Valley National Bank in Manhattan. The Plainview resident has been with the bank since 2005 and was promoted from vice president.

HEALTH CARE

Dominick L. Alese has been named vice president for strategic planning and implementation for Catholic Health Services in Rockville Centre. The Kings Park resident most recently served as vice president of administration at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, a member of CHS.
