Dennis M. Stern has joined Kirschenbaum & Kirschenbaum as of counsel and is part of the firm's alarm transactional department. Before joining the Garden City firm, Stern held a similar position at Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp in Los Angeles. He lives in Stamford, Conn.
Heather L. Gauweiler has joined the banking and commercial lending practice group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman in East Meadow as an associate. Before joining the firm, the Seaford resident was an associate at the Manhattan office of Duval & Stachenfeld, where she assisted attorneys on all aspects of commercial transactions involving sales, leasing, acquisitions, financing and development.

Shashank Munim has been named vice president of business development at Infosys International, a business and information technology consulting firm in Plainview. The East Northport resident was director of corporate accounts at Agfa Graphics in Ridgefield Park, N.J.
FINANCE
Nawrocki Smith in Melville announced the names of three employees who have been promoted from supervisor to manager.
Ted Campbell of Farmingdale joined the firm in 2004 and specializes in audit and assurance services.
Lindenhurst resident, Thomas Moran, joined the firm in 2006 and specializes in tax and internal audit services.
Megan Scotti has been with the firm since 2007 and focuses her practice on tax and internal audit. She is a Bayport resident.
BOARDS & ASSOCIATIONS
David Weingarten has been named vice chairman of the board of directors at Let All the Children Play Foundation in Cedarhurst, a group dedicated to developing accessible playgrounds and inclusive recreation programs for children with disabilities. Weingarten is the assistant executive director at the Jewish Community Center of the Greater Five Towns in Cedarhurst and lives in Atlantic Beach.
Vincent Keaveny has been elected to the board of Child Abuse Prevention Services in Roslyn. He is a senior vice president, private client adviser for U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management in Melville and lives in East Northport.
John C. Gallagher has been elected board president of the Police Reserves of Suffolk County, an association of business leaders in support of law enforcement agencies. The former Suffolk County police commissioner resides in Miller Place.
HEALTH CARE
Ralph Corbino has been appointed assistant vice president of imaging and cancer care services at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. Corbino, of Smithtown, joined Good Samaritan in 2009 as administrative director responsible for all divisions of radiological services.
