 Dr. V. William Caracci, of <a href="/topics/West_Islip%2C_NY">West Islip</a>, is the former chairman of <a href="/topics/Bay_Shore%2C_NY">Bay Shore</a> Wellness Alliance and retired chief of cardiology at <a href="/topics/Good_Samaritan_Hospital">Good Samaritan Hospital</a> Medical Center in <a href="/topics/West_Islip%2C_NY">West Islip</a>. 
 HEALTH CARE Christine Hendricks, of <a href="/topics/Islip%2C_NY">Islip</a>, has been promoted to vice president of public and external affairs at Catholic Health Services in <a href="/topics/Rockville_Centre%2C_NY">Rockville Centre</a>. She was regional vice president of public and external affairs for <a href="/topics/Good_Samaritan_Hospital">Good Samaritan Hospital</a> Medical Center, St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center and St. Charles Hospital. 
 Dr. Aaron E. Katz has joined Winthrop-University Hospital in <a href="/topics/Mineola%2C_NY">Mineola</a> as chairman of the department of urology. He served as vice chairman of urology at <a href="/topics/Columbia_University">Columbia University</a> Medical Center, professor of clinical urology at Columbia's College of Physicians and Surgeons and director of the Center for Holistic Urology. He lives in Armonk.
