Michael J. Taunton has been named vice president of finance at the Long Island Power Authority in Uniondale. He joins LIPA from Arrow Electronics in Melville, where he served as vice president and treasurer. Dr. David Fagan has assumed the responsibilities of acting chairman of the department of pediatrics at the Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow. He previously served as residency program director for the department and lives in Long Beach.
