CAMP 
 Jay Fiedler has been named director of the new Sports Academy at Brookwood Camps. He will work in Oceanside during the winter implementing a coaching program to be used at the camp, located in upstate Sullivan County, in the spring. The Fiedler family has owned Brookwood Camps since 1986. Jay Fiedler was an NFL quarterback for the Miami Dolphins, the Jets and other teams and lives in Oceanside.

 The Greater Long Island Running Club has added two new members to its executive board. 
 Lou LaFleur, a resident of Holbrook, is a retired postal inspector for the U.S. Postal Inspection Service in Manhattan. 
 Glen Wolther, a resident of Jericho, is president of All Around Foods in Westbury. 
 Bettie Meinel has been named board president of the Long Island Board of Realtors. The Huntington resident is in charge of training and recruiting, and is a licensed associate broker at Laffey Fine Homes in Greenvale. 
 Anthony Atkinson has been named president of the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island. The Freeport resident is broker and owner of Weichert Realtors Quality Homes in Baldwin. 
 Dr. Chris Salierno has been elected president of the Suffolk County Dental Society. The Huntington resident is a general dentist and a partner of Broadhollow Dentistry in Melville. 
 HEALTH CARE 
 Jim Murry has been named chief information officer of Stony Brook Medicine. The Setauket resident previously served as associate dean of information technology and informatics at the University of California-Irvine (UCI) School of Medicine and chief information officer of UCI Medical Center.

 Farrell Fritz has announced three new promotions at its Uniondale office. 
 Joseph T. La Ferlita has been promoted to partner. The Locust Valley resident focuses his practice on estate planning and the administration of estates and trusts, and previously served as counsel. 
 Heather P. Harrison has been promoted to counsel. The Forest Hills resident is a commercial litigation attorney concentrating in labor and employment law and previously served as an associate.
