The Long Island Library Resources Council has appointed four new members to the board of trustees. Kathryn Curran will represent the category of lay person, Suffolk County. The Bayport resident is the director of the Suffolk County Historical Society in Riverhead. Roger Podell will represent the category of school library system, Suffolk County. He is director of the Western Suffolk BOCES School Library System in Wheatley Heights and lives in Wantagh. Kevin Verbesey will represent the category of school library system, Suffolk County. He is the director of Suffolk Cooperative Library System in Bellport and lives in Setauket. Jean-Paul Vivian will represent the category of special library, Nassau County. He lives in Massapequa Park and is the principal law librarian at the Nassau County Supreme Court Library in Mineola.
