 Contractors for Kids has announced two newly elected officers of the executive board. 
 Troy Caruso has been elected president. The <a href="/topics//Smithtown,_NY">Smithtown</a> resident is the president of Diversified Construction Corp. and Superior Site Work Inc., both in <a href="/topics//Bay_Shore,_NY">Bay Shore</a>. 
 Steven DeLuca, of <a href="/topics//Smithtown,_NY">Smithtown</a>, has been elected vice president. He is first vice president at <a href="/topics//Suffolk_County,_NY">Suffolk</a> County National Bank in <a href="/topics//Deer_Park,_NY">Deer Park</a>. 
 Contractors for Kids is a charity that assists <a href="/topics//Long_Island,_NY">Long Island</a> families facing hardship due to sickness, injury or death of a child. 
 HEALTH CARE 
 Dr. Bhoomi Mehrotra has been named director of oncology and director of The <a href="/topics//Cancer">Cancer</a> Institute at St. Francis Hospital in <a href="/topics//Roslyn,_NY">Roslyn</a>. The <a href="/topics//Syosset,_NY">Syosset</a> resident is also an associate professor of medicine at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine at <a href="/topics//Hofstra_University">Hofstra University</a> in <a href="/topics//Hempstead,_NY">Hempstead</a>. He previously was associate chief for oncology at North Shore-LIJ Medical Center in <a href="/topics//New_Hyde_Park,_NY">New Hyde Park</a>. 
 REAL ESTATE 
 Peter Spanos has joined Sabre Real Estate Group in <a href="/topics//Garden_City,_NY">Garden City</a> as a senior associate. The <a href="/topics//Syosset,_NY">Syosset</a> resident previously was an associate broker at CBRE in the <a href="/topics//Woodbury,_NY">Woodbury</a> office.
