 William Somerville has been promoted to general manager of Suburban Exterminating, with offices in Smithtown, Plainview and Riverhead. The Huntington resident is a certified entomologist and was assistant general manager. 
 REAL ESTATE 
 Homes by Mara Realty in Syosset has announced two new hires. 
 Jillian Heflich joins as a licensed sales agent. The Huntington resident will perform her new role and continue to serve as an assistant manager and bartender at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza in Woodbury. 
 Samantha Rosner also joins as a licensed sales agent. The Carle Place resident held a similar position at North Site Realty in Syosset.
