 Dr. Barry K. Douglas has joined the board of directors of The Maurer Foundation, a <a href="/topics//Hauppauge,_NY">Hauppauge</a>-based breast health education nonprofit. The <a href="/topics//Oyster_Bay_Cove,_NY">Oyster Bay Cove</a> resident is a physician with the <a href="/topics//Long_Island,_NY">Long Island</a> Plastic Surgical Group, which has offices throughout <a href="/topics//Long_Island,_NY">Long Island</a> and New York City. 
 Two new board members have been elected to The <a href="/topics//Farmingdale,_NY">Farmingdale</a> College Foundation. Robert C. Godfrey will serve as president. The <a href="/topics//Glen_Cove,_NY">Glen Cove</a> resident has been a member of the foundation board since 2006. He is senior vice president at <a href="/topics//CB_Richard_Ellis_Group_Inc">CB Richard Ellis</a>, a commercial real estate firm with offices in <a href="/topics//Woodbury,_NY">Woodbury</a>. Christopher J. Kutner will serve as first vice president. The <a href="/topics//Rockville_Centre,_NY">Rockville Centre</a> resident has been a board member since 2009. He is a partner at the law firm of Farrell Fritz in <a href="/topics//Uniondale,_NY">Uniondale</a>. 
 Winthrop-University Hospital in <a href="/topics//Mineola,_NY">Mineola</a> has named three <a href="/topics//Garden_City,_NY">Garden City</a> residents to its board of directors. Michelle Clark is head of United States consumer-retail specialty sales at <a href="/topics//Morgan_Stanley">Morgan Stanley</a>. Sheila Jones Heslin is founder of SMJ Interiors, an interior design firm in <a href="/topics//Garden_City,_NY">Garden City</a>. Mary Beth C. Tully is a member of the hospital's board of regents, and the boards of the <a href="/topics//Garden_City,_NY">Garden City</a> Central Property Owners' Association, the United Hospital Fund and Palladia, Inc., a nonprofit, multiservice substance-abuse agency. 
 BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT 
 Joseph Aloi, of <a href="/topics//Coram,_NY">Coram</a>, has joined Ringo, a vendor management system in <a href="/topics//Melville,_NY">Melville</a>, as business development manager. Aloi held a similar post at VisionIT in Manhattan.

 Robert J. DeMelfi has joined LPL Financial in Port Jefferson as a wealth management adviser. The Shirley resident previously was a financial adviser for Capital One Financial Advisors in Port Jefferson Station. 
 MARKETING 
 Gilbert S. Brindley has been named director of marketing at H2M, an architecture and engineering firm in <a href="/topics//Melville,_NY">Melville</a>. The <a href="/topics//Coram,_NY">Coram</a> resident previously was a principal and president of Benjamin Brindley &amp; Sons -- an engineering and construction services firm that serves the insurance industry.

 Simon Owen-Williams is the head of school.
