Joseph J. Fennessy has been named chair of the board of directors of South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside. The Wantagh resident is partner and chief operating officer of the Northeast region for Deloitte & Touche in Jericho.
HEALTH CARE
Mercy Medical Center has added two physicians its staff.
Dr. Nisha Bansal, of Manhattan, and Dr. Benjamin M. Schwartz, of Bay Shore, are both specialists in gynecologic oncology and minimally invasive surgery. They are affiliated with Island Gynecologic Oncology, a group practice in Brightwaters and Port Jefferson. The practice has now opened a new office located in the Ryan Medical Arts Building on the medical center's campus in Rockville Centre.

Donald M. May has been named principal in charge of the forensic, litigation and valuation services practice at Grassi & Co. in Jericho. The Cortlandt Manor resident previously was a director of litigation and corporate financial advisory services with Marks Paneth & Shron in Manhattan.
