 Dr. Ira Nash has been promoted to senior vice president and executive director of the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Medical Group in Great Neck. The Edgemont, N.Y., resident was vice president and medical director of North Shore-LIJ's Physician and Ambulatory Network Services.

 Lee G. Shanley has been appointed as national coordinator for the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund. The Farmingdale resident is an instructor for Texas A&amp;M University's TEEX emergency management program and the former director of public safety and emergency management at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.
