Lisa Benz Scott has been appointed director of Stony Brook University's graduate program in public health. The Port Jefferson resident is also an associate professor in the School of Health Technology and Management (SHTM), and in the departments of preventive medicine and medicine at Stony Brook University School of Medicine. She was previously associate dean for research from 2006 to 2012. Credit: Handout
He is on the editorial board of the journal Pediatric Neurosurgery, and is a member of the American Society of Pediatric Neurosurgeons, the European Society of Pediatric Neurosurgery, the International Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the Nassau County Medical Society.
