Robert E. Sandler, a resident of Dix Hills, has been appointed to the Farmingdale College Foundation's executive committee to serve as treasurer for a two-year term. He joined the foundation's board of directors in 2013 and is a partner at Farrell Fritz in Uniondale.

Edward D. Baker of Long Island City joins the health care collection and reimbursement recovery practice. He previously held a similar position at Aboulafia Law Firm in Manhattan.
Nazia Bhatti of Hicksville joins the health law group in mergers and acquisitions. She held a similar position at Dickstein Shapiro in Stamford, Connecticut.
