BOARDS/ASSOCIATIONS
Sally Boggan was elected director of Districts X and XI of the Daughters of the American Revolution. The districts include Long Island and Queens. The Merrick resident is a retired music teacher.
Ernie Canadeo was elected to the executive committee of the Long Island Association. The Oyster Bay resident is the president and chief executive of The EGC Group, a Melville marketing and advertising company.
John Nedd of Westbury was elected first vice president of 100 Black Men of Long Island. He is president and chief executive of JonWesley Consulting, a Garden City global security consulting company, and assigned to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
FINANCE
Laurence A. Maistelman was named regional vice president of HSA Bank for the New York region. The Plainview resident was most recently president of Anderson Kent Property & Casualty in Melville.
HEALTH CARE
Richard J.J. Sullivan was named executive chairman of Catholic Health Services of Long Island. He has been chairman of the board of directors for almost 10 years and chief executive for a transitional period. The Babylon resident is also chairman and chief executive of the CM&F Group, a Manhattan-based insurance brokerage and agency.
Dr. Robert Alan Kates was named chairman of anesthesiology at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn. The Huntington resident was vice chairman of the department and has been an attending anesthesiologist at St. Francis since 1986.
The North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System announced two appointments.
Dr. Barry Kaplan was named vice chair of the department of cardiology at both North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. The Point Lookout resident was named director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Long Island Jewish Medical Center before his promotion.
Dr. Rajiv Jauhar of Syosset will fill Dr. Kaplan's previous position and has been named director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. He is director of interventional cardiology at the same facility.
LAW
Kevin J. Wimmer has joined Genser Dubow Genser & Cona in Melville as an associate. The Huntington resident was an associate at Brosnan & Hegler in Garden City where he handled estate administration and litigation on behalf of the Nassau County Public Administrator.
NONPROFIT
Colleen Multari was named director of early learning at Plainview-based Early Years Institute, which educates parents, professionals, and the public about the importance of the early years of life for later success. She was a licensing specialist in the day care licensing division at the New York State Office of Children and Family Services in Central Islip, which is also the community in which she lives.
