 Christopher S. Jorgensen has been elected to the board of directors of <a href="/topics//Islandia,_NY">Islandia</a>-based Contractors for Kids, a charity that assists children and their families in overcoming sickness, injury or death. The <a href="/topics//Smithtown,_NY">Smithtown</a> resident is the president of CS Jorgensen and Co., a financial planning firm in <a href="/topics//Smithtown,_NY">Smithtown</a>. 
 Richard Stott has been elected secretary of the <a href="/topics//American_Institute_of_Architects">American Institute of Architects</a> <a href="/topics//New_York_(state)">New York</a> State. He most recently was director on the AIANYS board. The Southampton resident is principal of Flynn + Stott Architects, also in Southampton. 
 HEALTH CARE 
 Marcie Siciliano has joined <a href="/topics//Mineola,_NY">Mineola</a>-based <a href="/topics//Long_Island,_NY">Long Island</a> Council on <a href="/topics//Alcoholism">Alcoholism</a> and Drug Dependence as assessment, referral and education specialist and the coordinator of the anger-management program. The <a href="/topics//Valley_Stream,_NY">Valley Stream</a> resident is a recent graduate of <a href="/topics//Hofstra_University">Hofstra University</a>. 
 Dr. Nenad Grlic has been appointed director of the department of emergency medicine at Mercy Medical Center in <a href="/topics//Rockville_Centre,_NY">Rockville Centre</a>. The <a href="/topics//Garden_City,_NY">Garden City</a> resident most recently served as interim director.
