HEALTH CARE
Karen Lange of Setauket has been promoted to director of medical-surgical nursing at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip. She was most recently nurse manager of two medical-surgical telemetry units and started at the hospital in 1974 as a licensed practical nurse.
Carolann Maroney was appointed director of human resources at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. She will oversee daily human resources operations including employee relations, recruitment and retention, and compensation and benefits. Maroney was the human resources manager at St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson and lives in Sound Beach.
