Richard S. Corenthal has been named to the board of directors of Tuesday's Children, a Manhasset-based nonprofit group that works with children and families affected by the events of Sept. 11, 2001. Corenthal, a Larchmont resident, is an attorney at Meyer, Suozzi, English & Klein in Garden City and Manhattan. His practice involves labor and employment matters, and he represents firefighter unions in New York State.
Herb Baer has been named president of Polar USA in Lake Success, a subsidiary of Finland-based Polar Electro, which manufactures heart-rate training technology products and invented the first wireless heart-rate monitor. The Mahwah, N.J., resident was previously executive vice president at Water-Jel Technologies, a Carlstadt, N.J., manufacturer and marketer of medical devices.
