 HEALTH CARE Dr. Julie&nbsp;Cherian has been appointed assistant professor of clinical pediatrics in the division of pediatric rheumatology at&nbsp;<a href="http://admin.newsday.com/topics/Stony_Brook_University">Stony Brook University</a>&nbsp;School of Medicine and to the medical staff at Stony Brook Long Island Children's Hospital.&nbsp;Cherian comes to Stony Brook from NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan, where she was a fellow in pediatric rheumatology.
