The Larchmont resident was the field placement coordinator for the graduate programs in school psychology at St. John's University in Queens. 
 Kevin Byrd has been appointed chairman of health and wellness at 100 Black Men of <a href="/topics/Long_Island%2C_NY">Long Island</a>. The Brooklyn resident was chairman of BrownByrd Prostate <a href="/topics/Cancer">Cancer</a> Foundation. 
 Mary Redler has been appointed executive director of the <a href="/topics/Wantagh%2C_NY">Wantagh</a> Chamber of Commerce. She is president of Building Your Image, a marketing, publicity and event planning consulting firm in <a href="/topics/Wantagh%2C_NY">Wantagh</a>, which is also the community in which she lives.
