Barbara Hoover has been named co-chair of the Glen Cove Hospital Advisory Council created to strengthen relationships between the health care facility and the community. Most recently, the Oyster Bay resident was an associate director of development at the North Shore Land Alliance, an organization that specializes in conservation and preserving open space on Long Island.
