Barbara Hoover has been named co-chairwoman of the Glen Cove Hospital Advisory Council, created to strengthen relationships between the health care facility and the community. Most recently, the Oyster Bay resident was an associate director of development at the North Shore Land Alliance, an organization that specializes in conservation and preserving open space on Long Island.
Judy L. Simoncic has been appointed to the board of directors at Options for Community Living, a not-for-profit organization that assists individuals and families with special needs to develop their full potential for independent living. The Woodbury resident is a partner at the Uniondale law firm of Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo, Cohn & Terrana.
FINANCE
William Pyszczymuka has joined a private client banking team at Signature Bank as an associate group director and vice president in the Jericho office. The West Islip resident was most recently a branch business manager at Capital One in Hicksville.
