 Dr. Steven Shelov has been appointed associate dean of undergraduate medical education at Winthrop-University Hospital and will oversee third- and fourth-year medical students who come to Winthrop's Clinical Campus of <a href="/topics//Stony_Brook_University">Stony Brook University</a>'s School of Medicine. The Scarsdale resident previously served as associate chief of staff at the Steven and Alexandra Cohen Children's Medical Center of New York in <a href="/topics//New_Hyde_Park,_NY">New Hyde Park</a>.

 Monique Merhige has been named marketing communications manager at Prestige Employee Administrators, a human resources outsourcing firm, in <a href="/topics//Melville,_NY">Melville</a>. The <a href="/topics//Coram,_NY">Coram</a> resident continues her role as chief executive of Infusion Direct Marketing in <a href="/topics//Hauppauge,_NY">Hauppauge</a> and most recently served as an adjunct professor of marketing at <a href="/topics//Dowling_College">Dowling College</a> in <a href="/topics//Oakdale,_NY">Oakdale</a>. 
 Denise Stieve has joined GrooveCar in <a href="/topics//Hauppauge,_NY">Hauppauge</a> as director of marketing.
