Francesco Fratto has been elected second vice president of the New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers, an organization formed in 1917. He is director of world languages and the ESL program in the Half Hollow Hills School District and lives in Manhattan.

NONPROFIT
Kim Mansueto has been named executive director at Girls Incorporated of Long Island. The Lake Ronkonkoma-based organization is part of a national network of local organizations that develop and use research-based informal education programs to encourage young girls to take risks and master challenges. The Brookhaven resident was director of services at the Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk in Patchogue.
