ASSOCIATIONSRaymond G. Ferranti has joined the board of directors of Art League of Long Island. The Northport resident is retired from IMC in Deer Park, where he served as controller.

Greenberg of Merrick, a partner at the Forest Hills law firm Addabbo & Greenberg, has been elected president of the Assistant District Attorneys Association of Queens County. The group is made up of current and former assistant district attorneys, many of who are now judges or attorneys in private practice.

Terri Alessi-Miceli has been appointed to the Long Island Regional Planning Council, where she will be a voting member. The Smithtown resident is president of the Hauppauge Industrial Association - Long Island.

EDUCATIONRahmat A. Shoureshi has joined New York Institute of Technology as the new provost and vice president for academic affairs. The Manhattan resident was dean of the School of Engineering and Computing Science at the University of Denver.
