Family Service League in Huntington has announced new members on the executive committee of the board of directors.
Wayne Grossé was elected recording secretary. The Bayport resident is the chief operating officer and a lead member of the strategic team at Bethpage Federal Credit Union.
Joseph Shaffery of Kings Park was elected treasurer. He is vice president, treasurer at HELP USA, a national developer of housing and provider of jobs and services for the homeless and at-risk populations.
Beth Polner Abrahams has been elected secretary of the advisory council of the Nassau Suffolk Law Services Committee, which provides free legal representation for low-income Nassau and Suffolk county residents. The advisory council promotes and assists with fundraising and outreach efforts to support the legal services program. The Oyster Bay resident is the owner and principal of the law office of Beth Polner Abrahams, a Carle Place elder-law, estate-planning and special-needs law office.
