Roger Quinland has joined the San Francisco-based franchise law firm Gordon & Rees as partner in its new East Meadow office. The Westchester County resident was most recently counsel at Harold L. Kestenbaum in East Meadow.
Michael Wickersham has joined Forchelli, Curto, Deegan, Schwartz, Mineo, Cohn & Terrana in Uniondale as counsel in the corporate and commercial group. He held a similar post at Beigelman Feiner & Feldman in Manhattan and lives in Merrick.

Judy Cummings has been appointed executive director at Suffolk Coalition to Prevent Alcohol and Drug Dependence in Hauppauge. The Eastport resident was assistant director of health, physical education and athletics in the Bay Shore School District.
