Pronto of Long Island, an outreach agency that provides food, clothes and vital services to the needy, announced the appointment of two new members to its board of directors.

William V. Ferro, of Brookville, is an attorney and managing partner at the law firm of Ferro, Kuba, Mangano, Skyler in Hauppauge.

Anthony Manetta is the chief executive and executive director of the Suffolk County Industrial Development Agency in Hauppauge and lives in Babylon Village.

Annmarie Giordano has joined Ed McNulty Realty in Rockville Centre as a sales agent. The Baldwin resident previously was a sales agent at Deblat & Garrett Real Estate in Oceanside.

TECHNOLOGY

Sandra P. Kapell has been appointed executive vice president, human resources and administration, at Cablevision Systems Corp. The Connecticut resident will work in the Bethpage office. Previously, she served as senior vice president and chief human resources officer at Chartis, an AIG company, in Manhattan. Cablevision is Newsday's parent company.
