 Krista L. Faltin, of Bay Shore, joined the bankruptcy and litigation practice groups. She is a recent graduate of Brooklyn Law School and served as a legal intern at the firm. 
 John P. Hauser, of Levittown, joined the corporate and real estate practice groups. He is a recent graduate of Hofstra University School of Law, was a legal intern at the firm, is a certified public accountant and served as a senior tax accountant at Ernst &amp; Young in Jericho. 
 Melanie A. Fitzgerald has been named partner at LaMonica Herbst &amp; Maniscalco in Wantagh. The Garden City resident served as career law clerk for members of the judiciary of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York in Brooklyn, Central Islip and Westbury.

 Michel Richez has joined Optimum Solutions in Lynbrook as executive vice president of sales. The Wantagh resident was director of business operations and development at A+ Technology &amp; Security Solutions in Bay Shore. Optimum Solutions is a developer and marketer of data capture solutions for the corporate and educational markets.
