 Gerard E. O'Connor was elected chairman of The Viscardi Center board of directors. The Garden City resident is a vice president at Goldman Sachs in Manhattan, where he works in the private wealth management group. The Viscardi Center is a network of nonprofits providing services that educate, employ and empower people with disabilities.

 Sandra Albanese has joined Bshapiro Financial in Jericho as a financial planning assistant. The Dix Hills resident was a special-education paraprofessional with the Half Hollow Hills Central School District in Dix Hills.

 Brian McKenna joins Keller Williams Realty Homes &amp; Estates in Hauppauge as a licensed sales agent. The East Setauket resident is newly licensed. He attended The American Real Estate School in Hauppauge.
