Steven Montemagno of Flushing has been hired as director of information technology at Gettry Marcus CPA in Woodbury. He was the IT director at the Satterlee Stephens Burke & Burke law firm in Manhattan.

EDUCATION

Jacqueline Scrio of Great River has been appointed assistant superintendent for finance and operations in the East Rockaway School District. She was assistant superintendent for business and noninstructional personnel for the Lindenhurst Public Schools.

HEALTH CARE

Ilene Gilbert-Droge of Lake Grove has been appointed vice president of physician enterprise at Catholic Health Services of Long Island in Rockville Centre. She was chief operating officer of First Physicians Group/Physician Services Inc. of Sarasota Memorial Health Care System in Florida.

Avery Maron of Woodmere has been hired as a litigation associate at Davidoff Hutcher & Citron in Garden City. He was an associate at Goldberg & Bokor in Cedarhurst.

Janet Nina Esagoff of Great Neck has joined The Siegel Law Firm in Garden City as a senior associate. She was an associate attorney at Margolin & Weinreb Law Group in Syosset.
