BOARD APPOINTMENTS
James Gaughran has been elected chairman of the Suffolk County Water Authority board. The Huntington resident is an attorney in private practice.

Vincent J. Pizzulli Jr. has been appointed to the board of Vision Long Island, a not-for-profit organization that promotes smart growth on Long Island. The Smithtown resident is a partner in the real estate practice group at the East Meadow law firm of Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman.

Bryan Erwin has been appointed chairman of the Long Island State Park, Recreation & Historic Preservation Commission, a state advisory group appointed by the governor. The Mattituck resident is vice president of the investment management division at Goldman Sachs.

Wilbur Klatsky has been appointed to the New York State Banking Board, which advises the state banking department on the formulation of banking standards and on the issuance of bank charters and licenses and the establishment of branch banks. The Shoreham resident is a private financial consultant and the mayor of the Village of Shoreham.

Paul J. Granger has been selected chairman of the New York State American Water Works Association, an alliance of water supply professionals. The Levittown resident is department manager of water resources planning and design at H2M, an engineering, architectural, environmental and planning firm in Melville.

Victoria Loveland has been appointed egg donor nursing adviser at Parents via Egg Donation, an organization created to provide information on the donation process for building a family. The Miller Place resident is donor egg program coordinator at Long Island IVF.

FINANCE
Annette Levinson has joined Hanover Community Bank, headquartered in Garden City Park, as a senior lending officer in the mortgage division. The Patchogue resident was a senior mortgage originator with Genesis Home Mortgage in Hauppauge.

Michael P. Mulhall has joined Capco Consulting in Manhattan as a managing principal in its capital markets practice. The Rockville Centre resident was an independent business analyst at Kilkenny Consulting Inc.

GOVERNMENT
Joy Watson has been named Nassau County deputy comptroller of audits and special projects. She was a principal law clerk at the Nassau Supreme Court and lives in the village of Hemsptead.

LAW
John Pessala has joined the Hicksville firm of Russo & Pedranghelu. The Westbury resident is a former Nassau County family court judge.

Gisella Rivera has joined the Mineola business law firm of Meltzer, Lippe, Goldstein & Breitstone as an associate in its corporate law practice. She was an associate at the Manhattan law firm of White & Case and lives in Commack.

TRAINING 
Jeffrey Levy has joined Dale Carnegie Training of Long Island in Hauppauge as director, center for strategic leadership. The Plainview resident was a partner at Leadership Solutions Metro in Plainview.
