Tammy Leisen has been appointed senior vice president of government banking on Long Island for Capital One Bank. The Smithtown resident most recently served as senior vice president at Wells Fargo Bank. She is a member of Government Finance Officers Association, the Nassau and Suffolk Association of School Business Officials, and the New York State Association of School Business Officials.

Paul R. Varriale has joined Lewis Johs Avallone Aviles in Melville as senior counsel in the litigation department. The Mount Sinai resident was a founding partner at Belil & Varriale in Hauppauge.
