BOOKS
Michael P. Huseby has joined Barnes & Noble as chief financial officer and will work from the Manhattan office. The Locust Valley resident was previously executive vice president and chief financial officer at Cablevision Systems Corp. in Bethpage.
EDUCATION
Mitchell Nagler has been appointed assistant director of the student counseling center/director of the Bridges to Adelphi program at Adelphi University in Garden City. The Oceanside resident was previously director of the Adelphi Social Training Center.
HOSPITALITY
Aida Lorenzo has joined Seasons 52, a soon-to-open restaurant in Garden City, as field sales manager. She joins the Roosevelt Field mall restaurant from Pink Cake Productions in Miami, where she was event coordinator. Lorenzo has relocated to Roslyn.
LAW
Kevin G. Mescall has joined Lewis Johs Avallone Aviles in Melville as senior counsel in its litigation department. His practice concentrates on defense litigation of construction site accidents and product liability actions. He was previously a member at Cozen O'Connor in Manhattan and lives in Babylon.
