Patrick Farrell has been elected president of the New York State Association of City and Village Clerks. The Garden City Park resident is village administrator for the Village of Lake Success.
Carol Markman has been appointed to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants' tax executive committee. She is a tax partner at the Syosset accounting firm MayerMeinberg and lives in Westbury.
HEALTH CARE
Sherry J. Friedman has been appointed chief development officer for Catholic Health Services. The Hewlett resident takes on this newly expanded role while maintaining her position as vice president for development and public affairs at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn, where she will be based.
LAW
Konstantinos Kousiaris has joined the banking and commercial lending practice group at Certilman Balin in East Meadow as an associate. The Queens resident previously was a sole practitioner at Kousiaris Law in Great Neck.
