3 tips for choosing the right moving company

1. Find out whether the company is reputable: Is the company licensed? The state Department of Transportation can tell you. Also check with the Better Business Bureau to see if the company has been the subject of complaints.
2. Ask about charges: You can pay a moving company by the hour or by a flat rate. Price out companies.
3. Consider other expenses: Materials such as boxes, Bubble Wrap and newsprint will cost extra.
