Five homes in Flanders, including one on the water, will be auctioned off Thursday, Dec. 10, as part of a bankruptcy proceeding.

An investor who filed for bankruptcy owned all five properties, but they will be auctioned off individually, says Richard Maltz, president of Maltz Auctions, which is organizing the auction.

There will be no minimum bids listed.

The waterfront home was built in 1997 and has two bedrooms and one bathroom, with 554 square feet of living space. Two three-bedroom, one-bathroom homes and two additional two-bedroom, one-bathroom homes will also be auctioned off.

The annual real estate taxes range from around $2,300 to around $3,300.

Registration for the auction begins at 10 a.m., and it will take place at 39 Windsor Place, Central Islip. The purchases must be made in cash and prospective bidders must bring a $20,000 bank check for each property made payable to “Robert L. Pryor, as Trustee.” For more information, visit MaltzAuctions.com or call 516-349-7022.
