A 55-acre estate in Lloyd Harbor has gone on the market for $21 million.

The main house – a nine-bedroom, 6.5-bath brick home – is located on a bluff overlooking Cold Spring Harbor and has beach rights, according to the listing with Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty. The home has seven fireplaces, an in-ground gunite pool, a three-car garage, a chauffeur’s cottage, a caretaker’s residence and a summer guest house.

Annual taxes are about $304,591 a year.

A spokeswoman for the Village of Lloyd Harbor says that the property can be subdivided but could not say how many houses can be built there. In January, the village increased the minimum lot size from two to four acres, she says.

The land is owned by the Hadley family.

Daniel Gale’s Laura Zambratto and Margy Hargraves have the listing.
