Dorothy DiMaria has lived in this split-level since it was built in 1955. She and her husband raised their two daughters in the 1,348-square-foot home. The house, with an attached one-car garage, is on a neatly maintained and landscaped corner lot. Dorothy talks about the home:
“The house is in a quiet area with lovely neighbors. It’s on a nice open lot, and the Jericho school district is tops .?.?. On the main level is the living room, kitchen and dining room .?.?. The kitchen has a bay window, and there’s another bay window in the living room .?.?. It’s a good home for family gatherings .?.?. The three bedrooms are upstairs .?.?. There are hardwood floors under the carpet in the living room, dining room and hallway .?.?. We’re close to the Broadway Mall, and it’s convenient getting to the Long Island Expressway and Northern State Parkway .?.?. I hate to leave my house .?.?. and am going to be very sad to see it go, but it’s a very practical move for me.”
