In the spirit of the Chinese New Year — the Year of the Dragon — Long Island real estate agents from competing agencies are collaborating to mark the occasion by throwing a three-day open house extravaganza in Old Westbury.
About 20 homes priced from $1.5 million-plus to more than $10 million will be part of the event, says Mollie Grossman of
Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate, who is participating. House tours will take place at various locations from 1 to 3 p.m.

Dim sum and fortune cookies will be served at some of the homes Thursday
, including this one at 2 Red Ground Rd. on the market for $2.25 million
, where eats will also be served Sunday; food may be offered other days, and some houses may be decorated for the celebration.
