Alicia Keys' piano to be auctioned off
The auctioner hired to clear out Alicia Keys' Muttontown home before she sells it has just announced that a few new items will be put on the block.
Some of the more interesting additions to Sunday's auction by Commack-based American Auctions include an autographed Baldwin 7-foot grand piano that she took on her Songs in A Minor Tour from 2001 to 2002; posters, tour books and other memorabilia also signed by the Grammy Award-winning singer; signed and framed drawings of Keys; and her Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett album collection.
Keys has been trying to sell the seven-bedroom, 6.5-bath, 9,000-square-foot home since June 2010. It was last listed for $2.995 million.
She is in contract for the sale of the house. The closing is expected to take place next month.
